Wayne Gretzky was traded from the Edmonton Oilers to the Los Angeles Kings on August 9, 1988. On his first return to Edmonton to play the Oilers he received a four-minute standing ovation from the Oilers' biggest crowd ever to that date. After the 1988-89 season, a life-sized bronze statue of Gretzky was erected outside of the Oilers arena. This 16"x20" action photo features Gretzky on the Kings skating behind the net of Grant Fuhr as he covers his net. Gretzky's signature, witnessed by a UDA representative, was inked in black paint pen. This autographed image is limited to 99. Gretzky's signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated's Five-Step Process.
