The Anaheim Ducks won their regular season finale on 4/13/14, a 3-2 overtime victory over the visiting Colorado Avalanche. But that wasn't the most important part of the game. It marked the final regular season home game in the brilliant career of Teemu Selanne. The six-time Olympian wore the captain's "C" on his sweater in his 1,451st career game in front of 17,528 fans. He garnered standing ovations throughout the night, including every time he entered the ice in the third period. To top off the emotional night, he invited Avalanche goaltender and former teammate Jean-Sebastien Giguere to skate around the ice in an impromptu victory lap after the game. "The Finnish Flash" finished that season with 27 points in 64 games at the age of 43. This piece features both Selanne entering the ice for his last shift of the night and exiting the ice for the final time in a regular season game. Selanne has signed this limited edition (50) Final Home Game 16" x 20" image in silver paint pen. His signature and inscription are deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated's Five Step Process.
