The Edmonton Oilers made their first appearance in the Stanley Cup Final since 2006; a 4-3 series loss to the Carolina Hurricanes. Much like 2006 this series would go 7 games and Connor McDavid would make the 2023-24 postseason a postseason to remember. In McDavid's quest to bring Canada it's first Stanley Cup since 1993 he would go on to lead the postseason in points; break the record for assists in a single postseason; post the most points in a 2-game span; and become the first player to record four different four-point games in a single postseason since Mark Messier in 1988. Some of McDavid's biggest playoff highlights include a double-overtime game winning goal in game 1 of the Western Conference Finals and back-to-back 4-point games in games 4 and 5 of the Stanley Cup Final. McDavid became the first player to record more than 40 points in a single postseason since Mario Lemieux in the 1991 postseason. This p-velvet archival paper is autographed by Connor McDavid.
