Outstanding Babe Ruth signed baseball featuring Ruth's blue fountain pen signature executed perfectly across the sweet spot. The manufacturer's stampings are visible on multiple panels; revealing "Westland's" as the manufacturer of this "League Special" baseball. The baseball displays a consistent level of toning throughout; providing nice contrast with the signature. A few tiny surface imperfections are visible; including a small one on the last two letters of the signature. Also present on a side panel is a small hole; which in our opinion is evidence of the ball having once been mounted in a display. These minor flaws do not detract from the presentation value of this baseball; however. This remains a very desirable and pleasing example of a Babe Ruth signed baseball; ideally combining a strong signature with solid display value. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA.
