A three-time All-America center at Georgetown, Alonzo Mourning came into the NBA with a reputation for being a shot-blocker with a blossoming offensive game. It didn't take the second overall pick of the 1992 NBA Draft long to establish his reputation as that and so much more. Zo was a First Team All-Rookie selection after averaging 21 points, 10.3 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game. He put his name among the game's greats when he earned All-Star status in each of the following four seasons. Although his career in Charlotte lasted only three seasons – he was traded to the Miami Heat on 11/3/95 – he made an indelible mark on the young franchise. In his final season in Charlotte, he led the way to a 50-win season and a return to the playoffs. The Hall of Fame center averaged 21.3 points, 10.1 rebounds and 3.2 blocks per game in his 215-game Hornets career. Mourning has signed this limited edition (50) Buzz Collage 16" x 20" image in black paint pen. His signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated's Five Step Process.
