After completing a 15-year NBA career that included seven trips to the All-Star Game and an NBA Finals championship with the Heat in 2006, Alonzo Mourning called it quits at the age of 38 on 1/22/09. While he produced a title and countless memories in Miami, it was in Charlotte where Zo got his professional career kick started. Coming out of Georgetown as an All-American center, he immediately established himself as a dominant force who could change the game on both ends. He earned First Team All-Rookie honors after averaging 21 points, 10.3 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game. He went on to average 20-10-3 for his three-season Hornets career, the final two culminating in All-Star Game appearances. The Chesapeake, Virginia, native led Charlotte to the postseason twice before also leading Miami to the playoffs nine times. He was a crucial contributor in the Heats' 2006 run to the NBA Finals championship. To top off his career, Zo was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on 8/8/14. Mourning has signed this Mitchell & Ness Authentic Hornets Jersey in black paint pen. His signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated's Five Step Process.
