Best known for his time with the San Francisco Giants (1962-1971); Perry also played for the Cleveland Indians; Texas Rangers; San Diego Padres; and several other clubs. He won the Cy Young Award in both leagues -- AL with Cleveland (1972) and NL with San Diego (1978) -- making him one of only a handful of pitchers to achieve that distinction.
