Born in Puerto Rico; Cepeda broke into the majors with the San Francisco Giants in 1958; winning the NL Rookie of the Year Award and quickly establishing himself as one of the game's premier power hitters. He was traded to the St. Louis Cardinals in 1966; where he had his finest season -- winning the 1967 NL MVP Award unanimously and helping St. Louis win the World Series. Cepeda spent the later years of his career with the Atlanta Braves (1969-1972); Oakland Athletics; Boston Red Sox; and Kansas City Royals. A seven-time All-Star with over 2;300 career hits and 379 home runs; Cepeda was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999. He passed away in 2023; making his signed pieces increasingly significant in the vintage baseball memorabilia market.Shipping & Handling All memorabilia is carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery.
