In South Beach, he picked up right where he left off. He averaged a career-best 23.2 points per game in his first season in Miami and added 10.4 boards, 2.3 assists and 2.7 blocks per game. He found a home in Miami, helping to establish a consistent winner with that franchise. He spent 10 ½ seasons as a dominant center with the Heat, earning five more All-Star Game appearances and an NBA Finals championship in 2006.
