Former Islander great Ken Morrow is the only player in NHL history to capture an Olympic Gold Medal and the Stanley Cup in the same year. The defenseman played for the 1980 U.S. 'Miracle on Ice' team before joining the Islanders in time for the team's run of four consecutive Stanley Cups. After his 550-game NHL career ended in 1989 Morrow coached in Kansas City IHL for two seasons then served as assistant coach to Al Arbour with the Islanders in 1991-92. The Bowling Green alumnus was inducted into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame in 1995 and won the Lester Patrick Award in 1996. Ken Morrow has hand signed this 16x20 photograph of him holding up the Stanley Cup. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included. rn
