The NBA Slam Dunk Contest has seen some incredible displays of athleticism and creativity throughout the competition. While high flyers like Michael Jordan and Dominique Wilkins elevated the event to worldwide status in the late-1980s, Larry Johnson helped catapult it to another level of innovation in the '90s. Coming just eight months after he was selected No. 1 overall in the NBA Draft, the '92 contest featured the rookie Johnson against Cedric Ceballos in the finals. Johnson scored a 98 in both the first round and semifinals but came up short in the finals. In this image, he's seen flying high toward the hoop in the competition held at Orlando Arena on 2/8/92 while other NBA greats look on. Johnson has autographed this limited edition (50) "Spotlight" 20" x 16" image in silver paint pen. His signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated's Five Step Process.
